Hamble Point and Hythe Marina
It would be a shame to come to this part of the country and not see some of the beautiful yachting havens it has to offer.
Hamble Point Marina is situated at the mouth of the River Hamble, allowing easy access to the Solent and attracting competitive sailors from all of the world. Once you’ve had a good look at all the boats, there are many local nature walks to be taken, including the Strawberry Trail and Netley Beach to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Hamble Point is a one hour drive from The Mill.
Alternatively, try Hythe Marina – 40 minutes from The Mill and the first marina village to be built in the UK. The 206 berth marina sits alongside homes, shops, restaurants and bars. From here, you can hop on a ferry that takes you right into the centre of Southampton.
