Restaurant

We are very proud of the fact that we make everything here ourselves, including bread, soups, sauces, ice creams and puddings.

We are also doing our very best to source, local and organic produce including vegetables, free range eggs, local cheeses, New Forest seasonal venison and pork.

The Mill has been awarded the New Forest Marque - which is a recognition to show commitment to local produce and also showing we are doing our bit for the environment.

There is a snug bar at the front of the hotel and a lovely restaurant overlooking the river where we serve a delicious a la carte menu - or If you would prefer something light, we also have a snack menu.

You are welcome to enjoy your meal by the river. It's just not practical for us to reserve tables outside because of the changeable English weather, so it is best to arrive early if you want to take advantage of this unique setting.

Children are most welcome and we do offer a menu for our younger guests..
We are happy to help with various dietary requirements and have a gluten free menu.
It is not always necessary to book but we do
strongly advise this for weekend dinner bookings
and Sunday lunch.

Wine List

We have a great wine list with over 60 wines to choose from. We have lots of wines sold by the glass, our house white is a gorgeous Pinot Grigio from Italy or a fruity Sauvignon from Chile. House red is a Vista Flores Malbec Sangiovese from Argentina or a supple Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. All from £17.95 a bottle.

For a really special occasion our Private Dining room
(min 10 adults - max 17 people) is available.
